NIKON RESEARCH AND DEVLOPMENT is seeking a summer intern to work on developing new imaging algorithms. This work requires a solid research and development background in computer vision and image processing.  The candidate will be required to perform extensive MATLAB and C programing. Other duties will include literary research, algorithm evaluation, and development of innovative solutions for theoretical and practical problems in imaging.

Candidates must be Ph.D. students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields. The ideal candidates would be a highly creative and motivated researcher with demonstrated high quality research work in computer vision and image processing field. Strong preference will be given to applicants who can quickly learn new concepts and work self-directed with low amount of supervision to develop and implement novel algorithms.
